How to get someone information using kali linux
Information gathering tool sherlock in kali linux.
This tool is used to search usernames linked to different accounts. This tool searches about 300 websites for usernames.
Reconnaissance or footprinting means information gathering about a target computer and organisation they belong to which also includes information about employees working in them. So for the same this tool is gonna help.
Footprinting is an important step before proceeding towards an attack.
If target is having a favourite username which he uses in all social media accounts than it'll be easier to hunt him.
Installation(kali linux)
#apt update
#sudo apt install sherlock
It'll be installed in the system.
Working of the tool.
#sherlock user_name
Installation will work fine as it worked for me if not let me know.
